The world's first, unprecedented "directed by a director" film
The world's first director's play, ``What is a movie director?'', has the copyright of the movie director as a consistent theme, and loudly declares that ``the director is the copyright holder of the movie.'' ”. This work, in which a total of 200 film directors participated as actors and staff, begins by asking once again what the essence of the work of a "film director" is. It is a masterpiece of meta-cinema that ``dazzles'' the viewer. This is a rare and controversial work, as it is the ultimate auteurist film in which directors at the cutting edge of Japanese cinema used their own bodies to reflect and criticize the film itself.
